The 60 foot Groupe Bel yacht back at sea!


The mistral took a break this weekend and had already begun to blow again on Sunday afternoon. This brief lull obliged the "Technical dream team" (about fifteen people) to work twice as hard to enable the planned launch. J-24: The Rambla is not far off!


Of the fifteen teams that will be at the start of the Barcelona World Race, the six French ones were set on being physically present or represented at the Paris Nautic boat show. Although the Groupe Bel, Foncia, Virbac-Paprec 3, Fòrum Marítim Català and Fruit crews were able to come to Porte de Versailles, those of Président and Mirabaud were still on their way to Barcelona.

Safely back to Port... Camargue!


Yesterday night, at 23:00 (French time), Groupe Bel arrived in Port-Camargue after sailing the 2,300 miles between the Azores and the Camargue. After nine days at sea, the crew is pleased to have brought Groupe Bel safely back to her home port without incident.
