Groupe Bel, first in Le Havre It has become a habit. Just as for the last two Transat Jacques Vabre races, the Groupe Bel monohull, sailed by Kito de Pavant and Yann Régniau is the first contender to have reached the start harbor, during the night. This is not a point of pride but more from being cautious, since the boat, based in Port Camargue in the Mediterranean, has to round the Iberian peninsula, cross the Bay of Biscay... Read more

Le Havre Thursday at 3 am, Groupe Bel moored in the Paul Vatine dock in Le Havre We ended this delivery wonderfully, hurtling along in the Channel under spinnaker. A real delight which made up for the hours of flat calm in these last few days. I'm handing the boat over to the technical crew for a general checkup, but all is well on board. Have a good day. Kito.
