Less than a week after their wonderful arrival in Costa Rica, Kito and his team are ready to go back sailing. " Groupe Bel workers are waiting for us in Key West in Florida for some events planned on the 15 and 16th of December.
We will sail softly and are even thinking about doing a stopover on the way” explained Kito, who along with his dream-team - Brice de Crisenoy, Gwenael Gbick and Hervé Giorsetti – will discover once again new places on the 1000 miles between Puerto Limon and Key West. "We are planning a pit stop on the island of Providencia, located off the coast of Nicaragua and Honduras and should have a day at sea to reach the island. But if we consider it as an unfriendly place we could go to Cuba."
The weather in this part of the world is quite complicated at this time of year. "A huge depression is forming above Louisiana and 40 knots of wind are expected in the Gulf of Mexico. We'll take our time but should arrive at South Florida around the 12th of December."
Groupe Bel will then return to Port Camargue after the 17th of December. Hugo, Kito’s son, will embark alongside his father and Brice to perform this transatlantic return and celebrate Christmas in the middle of the Atlantic.
