It is 5 am and Key West is waking up. This boat is too fast! We will have to wait for sunrise before entering the marina. However, yesterday we encountered a good area of calm off the shores of Cuba, which allowed us to play at E. Hemingway and drop a line in the water, but we are much better at trimming "Babylight" (Groupe Bel) than we are at fishing for blue marlin, and we remained empty-handed.
So, we were expecting a quiet night an a missed opportunity. The wind picked up again, the speedometer went wild and with the residual choppiness of the trade wind further east, there was plenty of spray on deck and in the helmsmen’s faces. Welcome to Florida
