Message from on board: "It's no longer the same race"

"It's not easy to write to you, it feels strange, we're racing, but it's not the same! In all events, we are really glad to have left the Canaries archipelago and its areas of calm and this morning, to be able to benefit from a good 25-30 knot trade wind. For the moment, we are taking advantage of the good weather conditions to forge ahead as quickly as possible, with an occasional lie down in the bunks to recover a little."

"Obviously, we're watching what's happening up ahead, moreover, it would appear that the Breton fliers (Brit Air) are hungry for tomatoes and are sharing them with the green giants circle (Cercle Vert). Further south, the bankers are investing for the future. It's a great battle! In short, we have set ourselves a date; on 12 May we must be in St Barth!"

Seb and Kito on Groupe Bel.

The distribution remains the same in the 08:00 ranking, this Thursday. As Kito and Seb explained graphically, the leading trio are holding good in an area the size of a pocket handkerchief. Armel Le Cléac'h and Fabien Delahaye (Brit Air) are still ahead of Gildas Morvan and Bertrand de Broc (Cercle Vert) and Roman Attanasio and Samantha Davies (Savéol). From the north to south the situation is also stable, Adrien Hardy and Stanislas Maslard (Agir Recouvrement) continue their route on an option, getting closer to the shortest route, which now looks like it's double or quits. There is great suspense, including at the back of the pack where Groupe Bel is hot on their heels!
