Groupe Bel, still battling, plots her course!

After wind speeds of 30 to 35 knots, combined with an extremely uncomfortable sea, yesterday causing Groupe Bel's medium spinnaker and the heavy spinnaker to tear, the fleet is about to experience a weakening of the Trade Wind system.

This will give way to a wind flow fluctuating both in strength and direction, which will not make sailing easy, but which should enable Groupe Bel to repair some of the damage on board.

Damage that has not prevented Kito and Seb from gaining miles and moving up two places in the ranking at 08:00 this morning.
