More surprises

It is true that the weather is beautiful, a little too much so. The lack of wind is beginning to be felt, yet we should not really complain since the worst is yet to come. Despite the flattering 12th place in the general ranking, the future of our north route is looking gloomier by the day. The wind we were hoping for has vanished to who knows where and we don't know when we are likely to hit a favourable one.

However, we still say that our option was the only one that could have held a glimmer of hope.

The time needed to reach St. Bart is lengthening by one extra day with every new weather chart. It's quite depressing. However, we think that this damned forecasting is not an exact science and that there may yet be some surprises.

Luckily, we have not dipped into our water and food supplies too much, so we should not have any problems in that respect.
