Hello everyone, it is 3 am French time (UT+1) on board Groupe Bel, and it has been daylight on the Indian Ocean for the last half hour. The air is cold and dry. A south wind is driving us on a beam reach towards the French Islands of Crozet. All is quiet on board. Kito has just gone to bed and is sleeping soundly. Still a little sleepy, I am having a nice hot chocolate, keeping an eye on the sails outside and our course. Everything is going well. The pilot is doing its job in this wind, which has settled at last. The Albatrosses we saw yesterday evening are having a sleep-in and France has won the World Handball Championship.
