Kito de Pavant and Yann Réginiau have taken the 'coupe le fromage' option on Groupe Bel, sliding south west since yesterday afternoon and earlier today Mike Golding and Bruno Dubois seem to have taken the same option on Gamesa this morning. For Groupe Bel there were two options, follow the pack or go for it to south. Looking at the weather files they saw an option, as Golding also mentioned 24 hours ago, and they have gone for it. Whether the others move with them will remain to be seen. Meantime it is a more direct route towards the Caribbean, via the Dominican Republic which they all must pass to starboard, and already Groupe Bel have reduced their deficit by 50 or so miles since yesterday evening rising to seventh place.
